Tall green pines
stand against the sky
And rule with majesty
As water rushes by
In the form of stream
Silence is the song
Sung among the leaves
The only sound heard
Before day breaks
And the world comes alive
The sun peaks through
Along the tree line
Seen through branches
Reflecting on a beauty
Of creation so serene
Nature sends along
A gentle breeze going by
Through the morning haze
In the crisp cool air
That will awaken us all
Creatures crawl along
Rushing from branch to limb
Scavengers of nuts and seeds
That have dropped down
To the broken ground
