I realize I am in a place where I don’t belong
The walls don’t look right and the floor is off color
Nothing seems as though I thought it should be
This just doesn’t look like home.
So where is a place to call home
Where I can rest my head
And hear my heart beat quietly?
Is there such a place?
I look around, everything seems so strange
Nothing looks like it is in place, just off hue
No one seems as they ought to be, not to me
This just doesn’t look like home.
So where is a place to call home
Where I can rest my head
And hear my heart beat quietly?
Is there such a place?
Down the road I travel looking for a place to stay
I find I am a lonely soul in this world I wander
And nothing seems to be as it should have been
This just doesn’t look like home.
So where is a place to call home
Where I can rest my head
And hear my heart beat quietly?
Is there such a place?
Vanity, all is pleasure that covers the pain
Party tonight for tomorrow we cry then die
Yet no one seems as they were mean to be
This just doesn’t feel like home to me.
